Purchased 12 years ago, August 2009. When I was younger I had a 65 truck like this and that is why I got this one. It took a long time to find an original kept truck, found it in Arkansas. To my surprise in the glove box was the pro-tect-o plate booklet. For those of you who don’t know what that is , it’s the booklet you get from the dealership that is used when getting warranty work done. My truck has original equipment and the truck is kept original. Its a nice driving and handling truck. I haven’t had to do a whole lot to the truck over the years but have been waiting for the moment I would get it painted. Will now is the time and I am finally looking at paint shops and will keep the original paint color (Green/White). It’s given me lots of memories with my grandson and more. I don’t see myself ever parting with it.

I bought this truck in 1982. It had a 250 6-cylinder engine with 3-speed manual transmission. This truck was my daily driver until 1995 when it was disassembled to begin rebuilding. It took about 10 years to complete this project. It now has a crate 350 engine and 700R4 transmission. This truck was built for cruising and loves cruising the highways.

The truck was bought in 1980 and was my daily driver for several years. When I needed
a vehicle that got better gas mileage I kept the truck to pull my boat and do the
things trucks were designed to do. The truck is all original and has factory air that
still works, has the custom appearance and chrome option and custom comfort
option. I have just fixed things that went bad and had it repainted. The truck has only
broke on the road once in all those years and it was on a truck club cruise the
alternator went out.
