Hello, my name is John McDaniel and I am the new owner of 1941 Chevy AK. It's in good shape, still has the 216 in it and operates as a 6 volt system. I've ordered the parts for the 12 volt conversion, and am going to try and pick up the replacement battery this Saturday with pans to attempt the installation of the system on Sunday after church. I would totally welcome anyone interested in helping out, or just standing around and drinking beer. PM me and let me know if you are interested in coming by and I will send you the address.
